Ala Moana Beach Surfing
Ala Moana Beach Park has a mile-long stretch of reefs that offer a variety of waves during summer swells, making the park a surfing spot for surfers of all levels.
The reefs, however, are a fair distance from shore (about 400 yards), so you have to be prepared to paddle out all the way to the surf breaks located beyond. Allow plenty of time!
The breaks at Ala Moana Beach Park run all the way from Kewalos to Magic Island, plus across the channel to Bowls and Kaisers.
